10 Hot Summer Beach Bodies to Die For

10 Hot Summer Beach Bodies to Die For

This is our last shot at summer, people! The season is slipping away so fast. We have to savor every moment and soak up every bit of sun and ambiance while we can. Which is why we should also be playing games where the characters get in the same mindset, even if they’re supposed to be doing things like searching for treasure, fighting deadly opponents, or saving the world. These 10 games have some characters in amazing swimsuits, to help keep you in that summer mindset. Just brace yourself, because these swimsuit bodies may get you a little jealous.

Tales of Zestiria

Tales of Zestiria

Every recent Tales game has had costume DLC. It’s a big deal for Bandai Namco. Tales of Zestiria is only the most recent, and it does what all of them have tended to do – give us swimsuits! Because when your characters are fighting deadly monsters, you want them showing as much skin as possible. Does it make sense? No! Does it look good? Yes! Does that make it worth the $6.99 extra? Maybe!

Persona 4

Persona 4

The Persona series are serious RPGs mixed with slice-of-life antics. Since we’re dealing with high school kids, that means games like Persona 3 and Persona 4 have taken their crew to the beach. The beauty about that is that everyone’s suit represents their own style. Yukiko and Rise are alluring. Chie is sporty. Naoto goes with the traditional Japanese school swimsuit. The guys wear assorted sorts of trunks. They’re in it to have fun and show off their personality, which might be the best way to do it. Even when they aren’t near any beaches or pools, like in Persona 4: Dancing All Night .

One Piece: Unlimited World Red

One Piece: Unlimited World Red

One Piece is an anime about pirates. They’re on the high seas. Of course these men and woman are going to wear amazing swimsuits and look good doing it, because they’re active pirates fighting it out and burning calories all day. You usually do have to pay extra for that right, though. While getting Luffy into some trunks isn’t too difficult and usually acts as a pre-order incentive, you may need to actually pay extra for others. Case in point, One Piece: Unlimited World Red gets Nami, Robin, and Chopper ready for the beach for $2.99 each, giving you a sexy new look for each, as well as a new quest.

Fire Emblem Fates

Fire Emblem Fates

Getting to see the swimsuit scenes in Fire Emblem Fates might just be better since you have to earn these pin-ups. The $2.49 Beach Brawl gives you a ticket to paradise, which lets you see the eight royal siblings in their skivies when you win. That means sultry poses involving Ryoma, Xander, Hinoka, Camilla, Takumi, Leo, Sakura, and Elise. Win and you see your favorite character relaxing on the beach, making the most of the summer in the sorts of swimsuits you wouldn’t expect to see in a medieval fantasy world.

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords

Soulcalibur is a series that attempts to be as serious as possible, despite having a blindfolded bondage monster, man with his heart beating through his chest, and lizardman as combatants. This means most of the outfits are relatively reasonable, in fantasy terms. Unless you go into the Create-a-Soul function. Then you can go nuts with the sexy outfits. Soulcalibur: Lost Swords , in particular, has a triangle bikini that looks amazing on Sophitia. The catch is, you have to play another Bandai Namco game, Ace Combat Infinity . Still, look at her. It’s probably worth the trouble.

Tomb Raider Underworld

Tomb Raider Underworld

With Lara Croft being in all these exotic locations searching for treasure, you know she has to take some time for pleasure too. Tomb Raider Underworld has wetsuits, which are practical, and a white swimsuit, which is not. She can wear a white bikini in the Treasure Hunt mode when revisiting the Med. Sea in the outfit select screen. And trust me, it looks awesome.

Street Fighter V

Street Fighter V

We’re now entering “that” zone, folks. You know the one, where people whose bodies are deadly weapons somehow manage to always make themselves look as good as possible. The game offers all sorts of costumes for its characters, letting people like Karen, Cammy, R. Mika, Chun-Li, Laura, and eventually Urien don things a little more skimpy. For $3.99, we can see beach-ready bodies of some of the biggest fighters in games. You don’t want to miss that.

Tekken 2 Tag Tournament

Tekken 2 Tag Tournament

Tekken is another series where cosmetic DLC lets you see more of your favorite characters. By which I mean, lots of characters end up putting on swimsuits, speedoes, and other traditional apparel that shows you as much as you want to see. Gender doesn’t matter here. It’s an equal opportunity swimsuit situation. Tekken 2 Tag Tournament is one of the best examples you can go with. Why? Just look at Heihachi up there.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus

Senran Kagura is already a series that cranks fanservice up to 11, and Senran Kagura: Estival Versus takes things even more over the top. It goes out of its way to give people an excuse to have all of the most buxom women in gaming out on beaches battling. Which means tons of swimsuits. It also means its own characters are even extolling the virtues of summertime and the things that come with it. Take it from Katsuragi. Play this game and you’ll be saying, “No one can stop me now!”

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3

While Senran Kagura: Estival Versus may seem like the best game for beach bodies, that honor goes to Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 . Think about it. The hottest women in gaming, the characters from Dead or Alive , all go on an island vacation, where they hang around the resort engaging in activities like volleyball in an array of beach fashions. If you like eye candy, you can’t beat that!
