5 Reasons Harley Quinn Steals the Show

5 Reasons Harley Quinn Steals the Show

Suicide Squad has finally made its way to the silver screen, and it’s about time. I was beginning to wonder if this weekend would ever get here, considering how long this movie has been hyped. The cast of characters and personalities is unmatched in my book, but there’s one individual that is going to keep this film on the rails and that’s Harley Quinn. If you know anything about CheatCC, you know that we can’t get enough of this famed DC character. Thus we give you the top five reasons Harley Quinn will steal the show in Suicide Squad .

She’s Free to Be Herself

She’s Free to Be Herself

Harley Quinn literally has a blank canvas to display her best, and worst, qualities on. She’s essentially third in line behind Batman and the Joker, which allows her to be completely free from the constraints associated with being the leading man. She’s not there to drive the storyline or provide comic relief – she’s literally there to wreck havoc and do what she does best simply by being herself. That’s one dangerously exciting platform for viewers to experience.

Margot Robbie

The actress behind Harley Quinn’s character, Margot Robbie, is actually pretty decent at her craft. She’s hasn’t been in too many big name movies, but she’s a solid actress nonetheless. Moviegoers are in for someone who I think will live up to the hype that is associated with a big fan favorite like Harley Quinn. Don’t say I told you so when you’re shocked at her stellar performance.

The Famed Baseball Bat

It’s all about the baseball bat. Sure, it may not be her traditional mallet, but Harley knows how to work that thing. We’ve all seen the trailers with Robbie pumping the bat like it’s a shotgun all while spewing out some eerie nonsense. I, for one, can’t wait to see how Harley’s character uses that wooden stick of pain. Batter up!

Her Relationship with the Joker

Her Relationship with the Joker

The interaction between Harley Quinn and the Joker during her initial debut in the Batman: The Animated Series always made for entertaining animated dialogue. I can’t possibly imagine how the pair will interact on the live action platform, especially when you’ve got two fully developed characters to play around with. The Joker is going to bring out the best of Harley and will only further aid her in stealing this movie away from everyone.

She’ll Steal the Show from Batman and the Joker

She’ll Steal the Show from Batman and the Joker

Let’s be honest for a moment, Joker and Batman are the only two real reasons people are going to see this movie. No offense to the talented Will Smith (the Fresh Prince has still got it in my book), but people really want to see DC’s most popular characters. However, we’re going to see this flick for the sole purpose of being entertained, and that starts and ends with Harley Quinn – she’s without a doubt DC’s most volatile and unpredictable character to date.
