So, why not introduce some of the classic fighter's direct competition? Fatal Fury was one of many answers to Capcom's megaton success, and one of the best among the crowd of competitors. Fatal Fury would go on to more or less become the King of Fighters series, but the original titles had thier own charm, mechanics, and overall vibe.
