Top 7 Best Disney+ Shows Streaming Now

Top 7 Best Disney+ Shows Streaming Now

Disney+ isn’t some small world after all. It’s a huge subscription service that is now absolutely packed with different shorts, shows, and movies from the iconic company. Considering Disney pretty much owns everything now, that’s a lot. Which means you could subscribe and be overwhelmed. What do you watch? Well, we have some suggestions. Why not start with these seven things?

Lady and the Tramp

Lady and the Tramp

Disney’s been putting together a lot of live-action remakes of its classic movies. Lady and the Tramp is the latest, and it is a Disney+ exclusive. I mean, it is free to watch. It has cute animals. People like Tessa Thompson, Janelle Monae, Justin Theroux, Sam Elliot, and Benedict Wong are in it. Plus, if you have kids around the house, they’ll probably dig seeing it.

The World According to Jeff Goldblum

The World According to Jeff Goldblum

Jeff Goldblum is a good actor and goofy dude people have loved since he helped escape the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. (Or, if you’re old like me, since he turned into The Fly. ) The Disney+ show The World According to Jeff Goldblum lets him be himself. He looks at stuff, like denim, sneakers, or tattoos, and immerses himself in the topic, then offering new insights into things we’d consider ordinary. The December 13, 2019 episode will cover gaming!

SparkShorts

SparkShorts

You know those really sweet Pixar shorts that appear ahead of movies? Well, Disney+ has them and things like them. They’re called SparkShorts. If someone has the service, they can quickly watch all of these cute clips one after another. Kitbull in particular is ridiculously sweet and lovable. Plus, more will eventually be on the way. Maybe it might be a good idea to keep them on the side for when you need a pick me up or something short and sweet to bring a smile to your face.

Marvel’s Hero Project

Marvel’s Hero Project

Want something touching? A show that gets you thinking about heroes and the good they do? By which I mean, ordinary people. Well, Marvel’s Hero Project is that. It looks at some kids who are making the world a better place. It tells their stories. Then, they each get a Marvel comic based on themselves. While a lot of reality TV can be a bit questionable, this is one for people who like Marvel and heartwarming things.

The Imagineering Story

The Imagineering Story

Know what can be really cool? Finding out how things work. Especially with something like Disney, where the company has huge theme parks filled with rides in lots of different countries. The Imagineering Story offers a deeper look into that. Angela Bassett narrates each one and explains in detail about different elements. For example, the first episode was about Disneyland, while the second was about The Haunted Mansion ride and Disney World. You learn a lot of details and insights you wouldn’t expect about these complex places.

The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian is a big one for Disney+ subscribers. While a lot of the original programming, like the new Marvel Cinematic Universe shows or perhaps other eventual Star Wars projects, aren’t there yet, this is. People follow The Mandalorian, a Boba Fett and Jango-style bounty hunter. It takes place after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and looks at his adventures in what is a rather lawless area. It has also introduced a baby Yoda. (It isn’t actually Yoda, but another one from his species.)

Old Disney Animated Movies

Old Disney Animated Movies

Lots of those old Disney movies you loved as a kid are on Disney+. Even the ones that aren’t great. Now that there are no worries about a Disney Vault that they’ll all go back into for years, why not return to the movies you loved years ago? If people hated the live-action The Little Mermaid musical on ABC, they could watch the original here. If they forgot that Robin Hood was actually good, they could remind themselves. If you miss Robin Williams as the Genie, turn to the original Aladdin. Everything’s waiting.
