Top 10 Funniest Game Glitch Videos

Top 10 Funniest Game Glitch Videos

Game glitches can be seriously annoying. They can interrupt gameplay, get you killed, and just all around piss you off. But on rare occasion, glitches can be so outlandish and crazy that they can be absolutely hilarious. We spent the week looking for these moments, trolling YouTube for the funniest game glitches we could find. So here are ten of the weirdest, oddest, and funniest.

Battlefield 3 Beta Crawl Glitch

Battlefield 3 Beta Crawl Glitch

This glitch shows us just how much stress these BF3 troops must be under. While crawling, the soldier is contorted into a slug-like form with an elongated neck that would make a giraffe jealous. I know if I saw that on the battlefield, I would just surrender. Or die laughing.

Have You Seen My Sword?

Have You Seen My Sword?

So if you were an Italian guard in the Assassin’s Creed series, where would you keep your sword? A sheathe perhaps? Not this guy. This guy prefers to keep it lodged in his skull. He looks pretty nonchalant about the whole thing, even though we’re pretty sure that would hurt like hell.

GTA IV Swing Set Glitch

GTA IV Swing Set Glitch

Have you ever wanted to catapult vehicles across immense distances using a swing set? Well, that’s exactly what happens in this compilation video from GTA IV. Not only can you launch a vehicle from this magical swing set, but you can take it a step further and launch yourself from your truck midair. Go for the gold.

Lydia’s Trip to Space and Back

Lydia’s Trip to Space and Back

Look, I know giants are strong, but this is ridiculous. In this video from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, some giants have a lot of fun with Lydia by beating her with a club and launching her into the stratosphere. Don’t worry, though, she returns unharmed. Additionally, the commentary adds even more humor to the mix, as does the Portal 2 Space Core sound clip.

Catsplosion

Catsplosion

I don’t know how this Minecraft glitch was discovered, but one thing is certain: I want a cat fountain. This feline shower makes for some good fun at the expense of hundreds of unwilling domesticated cats. Somebody call PETA.

New Vegas Will Make Your Head Spin

New Vegas Will Make Your Head Spin

This video from Fallout: New Vegas is funny, but it’s also incredibly creepy. In the midst of some dialogue, Doc Mitchell’s head begins to rotate in very odd ways. But that is just the beginning. Eventually, he suffers a full demonic transformation and begins to float about the area, with his head still continuing to spin. Now all we need is a little vomit and a priest.

Walking Without Legs

Walking Without Legs

In this clip from Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance, Raiden gets himself into a little bit of trouble. After slicing off the assailant’s legs, he walks away to hide and reset his Alert level. However, this guard had no intent to give up his duty; he just gets back up and starts walking around again. Who needs legs, right?

Just an Ordinary Day in Skyrim

Just an Ordinary Day in Skyrim

This video starts out harmless enough, horse and rider running in tandem with the character hovering over the horse. Not so funny. But then it takes a turn for the bizarre when the rider happens upon a hungry bear. He then begins to spin uncontrollably, like a windmill attached to the side of his steed’s head. This mesmerizes the bear, forcing it to look upon his tasty dinner with relative concern. Eventually, the balance is restored and an adventurer takes care of the bear with a trusty sword and a little magic fire.

Bouncy Carriages

Bouncy Carriages

In this video, we see carriages in Red Dead Redemption bouncing like hydrolic-rigged cars from a 1990s rap video. Good old John has a lot of guts to hop in, only to be ejected a few short seconds later.  At least he tried, right?

Riot Shield Dace Party

Riot Shield Dace Party

In this Call of Duty: MW2 video, we see a riot shield dance party that we just can’t help but laugh at. The goofy shield dance, coupled with the other moves, proves that riot shields are the perfect dance accessory. And the music totally sells the joke.
