One of the biggest and best surprises from the February 2019 Nintendo Direct was the reveal of a remake of the early 1990s Game Boy classic, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. This is a huge-looking game in terms of development scale, despite its humble, handheld origins.

Aside from questions about the game itself, I found myself wondering if this title potentially opens the door for more high-quality Game Boy remakes. Even if that ultimately doesn't happen, here are the ten games I think deserve the Link's Awakening treatment the most.
